Chapter Nine: Love Lockdown
Murph laid down in his cell, looking up at the ceiling. His cellmate Willie, was and OG that used to be known around the way when Murph was younger. He had been in the county for over ten years. What landed him in there was the fucked law of accountability. Some niggas had raped his daughter, and went around the hood showing the video tape of what they had done to her. Willie seen the young niggas chilling in front of the liquor store, they saw him too. The little niggas already knew what Willie was going to be on when they ran into one another, so they pulled out their guns first and started blasted, Willie returned fire. While bullets were flying everywhere, a young girl was running behind Willie. Right when she passed Willie, three stray bullets hit her head and she died instantly. The police charged Willie with the young girl’s murder. The police felt the little girl wouldn’t have died if the guys were not shooting at Willie. Now instead of everyone getting charged with the murder, Willie was the only one that went down for the little girl’s murder. The girl’s family came to court to speak on the young girl’s behave, regardless of the fact the police still charged him with the murder because of law of accountability. So he knew that he wasn’t going to see the light of day again, with being charged for killing a young girl.
“What’s on your mind baby boy?” Willie asked as he reentered the cell from playing cards.
“My shorties man, this shit all bad. This bullshit charge came at the wrong fucking time.” Murph continued talking slowing as he shook his head. He grabbed a pen a paper getting prepared to write, but it seemed like Willie wanted to talk a little more.
“Youngblood let me tell you something, I don’t know what you did and quite frankly I don’t want to find out. All I know is you can’t be the man your fiancé needs when you in here, or a father to your kids. So if you find yourself in here for a long period of time, don’t expect her to still be around you. Yea when you first get here, yea she gon make every visit and make sure your business is handled but after that kiss her pretty ass goodbye. See when I was locked up down in Statesville, you can feel and touch your people ya feel me. So when my girl used to come see me down there I would hug her so tight, gripping on her waist and thighs.” Willie gazed up like he was dreaming. Willie smiled and laughed a little bit because he still felt like he could feel her thighs and waist against him. Murph lightly laughed because Emeri’s thighs was his favorite playground. “Anyway, on this one day she came to visit me them thighs felt real fucking tight. I knew damn well it
